10 Jun Look Ahead America Rally “Against Political Persecution”
On Saturday, June 19th, Look Ahead America will be hosting our first Rally Against Political Persecution. We will be making our voices heard outside the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. The event will take place outside the DoJ on 10th Street NW, between Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues. 10th Street is being closed for our event. This isn’t a rally with entertainment and fluff. We are focusing on the critical issue at hand. It will last from noon to 1:00pm. Our agenda includes speakers who will be speaking out against the injustice we are witnessing.
Since January 6th, hundreds have been charged, many sit in solitary confinement. Imagine being ripped apart from your family for being a Patriot. Imagine being labeled a terrorist by your own government, losing your job, being denied access to religious services while you sit behind bars, being denied life-saving cancer treatments while in jail NOT because you viciously attacked anyone, looted a business, burned down a city, or torched a police department, no, you’ve become a target because you entered our nation’s Capitol. And, many of those who are facing charges are our own Florida neighbors.
We need to contact our US Senators and Congressmen ((https://openstates.org/find_your_legislator/)) to demand the Department of Justice drop all charges against non-violent offenders. Please engage with your representatives. Call their offices. Schedule a face to face meeting. Bring urgency to this. Make sure they truly understand what is happening to our fellow American citizens facing the unjust treatment of the Biden administration. You can refer to the letter Matt wrote to the Department of Justice in January that has gone unanswered.
If you would like to attend, I encourage you to use the link provided to RSVP on the website.
Above all, I ask for your prayers for protection, strength, grace, and peace for this event. And pray for those we are fighting for.
